1982年世界音樂節演出實況   (黑膠)

★來自全球四大洲的二十多個國家演出團體，創造世界音樂歷史的指標

  第一屆世界音樂節於1982年7月15日在英國謝普頓馬利特舉辦之後，這樣融合多元音樂、藝術、舞蹈的活動，漸漸在世界各地形成風潮，至今已經在全球超過三十個國家舉行，成為世界性的音樂盛事。創辦初期，創辦人彼得‧加布里埃爾等人的想法就是單純成立一個節目內容來自世界各地的音樂節，而且是在唱片、廣播中都不容易買到 、聽到的精彩演出，並且提供獨立音樂團體表演空間或是實驗平台。

  在世界音樂節成立40年的時刻，第一年演出的實況錄音自然具有歷史性的里程碑意義。當時的演出團體來自全球四大洲的二十多個國家，包括The Musicians of the Nile、Echo and the Bunnymen、The Beat、Simple Minds、The Drummers of Burundi、Salsa de Hoy與音樂節創辦人彼得‧蓋布瑞爾本人等。這個音樂節也成為往後世界音樂發展的重要指標。
